Our story began with our founder, Alan Thrift. Before he was diagnosing complex HVAC systems in Orlando, Alan was serving in the United States Army. As a utility repair technician, he learned the values of discipline, precision and service to others. It was during his military service that he earned his R22 (Freon) certification from the EPA, beginning a lifelong journey in HVAC excellence.
Upon returning from active duty, Alan didn’t just enter the HVAC industry—he immersed himself in it. He spent a decade practicing his craft right here in Orlando, gaining hands-on experience in the unique challenges posed by Florida’s salty air and extreme heat. In 2008, he earned his Class B Mechanical Contractor’s License, and in 2012, No Sweat AC & Heating was officially born.
Alan’s vision was simple: Create a company where the technicians are educators, not salesmen.
